The ground level ring is often used in fencing around sports fields and used in combination with the locking ring. The ring is placed around the post on the ground and thus prevents the weeds from growing upwards directly along the posts. The locking ring is placed over the ground level ring and fastened with the socket clamp screws. This fixes the ground level ring and also prevents the post from subsiding. The rings are available with 62 and 92 mm holes and in the RAL colours 9005 black and 6009 green.
